Early this year, our faculty met to decide which opportunities would best serve our
excel students whose talent, work ethic and technical advancement
has prepared them for the first time to present “award winning” class work and performance pieces. Beyond what students have previously shown, the JLDC inaugural “Performance Award” Concert held at the all new Performing Arts Center at Newton North High School will showcase our excel students uniquely paired and performing
at their highest levels before the JLDC and Newton Communities.
The Spring “Performance Award” Concert will demonstrate this year’s achievement in the American Academy of Ballet graded curriculum followed by a range of “prized” specialty and solo pieces giving parents, friends, JLDC students and the community insight into the full range of JLDC programming designed to challenge, inspire and accelerate its students.
